Daniel Sambraus
(Munich, Germany, 1967)
She began dividing her time between London, her home and workplace for 28 years, and the romantic town of Tepoztlán; This has allowed it to take advantage of both contrasting urban spaces. Daniel's art, focused on urban landscape architecture, is deeply influenced by the London metropolis. By consistently applying the basic principles of fragmentation, repetition and montage, he creates varying degrees of abstraction drawn from selected architectural motifs; He often uses fragments of famous and recognizable buildings, other times he uses only the minimalist elements of architectural styles or movements. Whenever certain components of the urban cacophony are isolated, a level of simplicity and clarity is created in the eyes of the viewer that the urban space itself is incapable of providing.
