Chobe National Park is located in the Kalahari desert, near Kasane in northern Botswana. It is between 23º50'E and 25º10'E and between 17º45'S and 19º25'S. It covers an area of 10,698 square kilometers, making it the third largest reserve in the country, after the Central Kalahari Game Reserve and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. After Gemsbok, it is the second largest park in Botswana. Its elephants, zebras, cape buffalo, bosboks, pukus, and hippos are major tourist attractions.
