EXPLORE ASPEN SNOWMASS.
Aspen Snowmass is an incomparable destination at the confluence of nature, culture, and recreation. Four mountains and two vibrant towns engage the mind, body, and spirit—encouraging you to live boldly, artfully, and optimistically, leaving a lasting impact long after you return home.
Aspen Mountain
Known locally as Ajax, this mountain ski is far more significant than its acreage would suggest. With a total of 675 skiable acres, Aspen Mountain attracts people of all nations, ages, and abilities to revel in an attitude that is the perfect marriage of laid-back, luxurious, athletic, and indulgent. All trails lead to the heart of Aspen, where the après options, dining, shopping, and nightlife are unrivaled.
Snowmass
Snowmass is the perfect mountain for families and groups, as 95% of its lodging is ski-in/ski-out, and its wide-open layout creates space for every visitor to form a personal connection. The Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center mixes indoor and on-snow play for youngsters. Families can enjoy the mid-mountain activities at Elk Camp, including tubing and the Breathtaker Alpine Coaster. Snowmass Village is a cozy resort town experience—accessible by snow, road, and gondola—offering dining, shopping, and entertainment for all ages, all day and evening.
Highlands’ locally-loved landscape is a perfect combination of tight and loose—a place to push hard and play hard. Its eccentric spirit embraces freedom and individuality, whether you’re carving new lines or reaching new heights of revelry at Cloud Nine. Actual expert trails are everywhere up high (rising to 12,392 feet); wide groomers flow from mid-mountain; and the Highland Bowl… with its legendary in-bounds hike-to-terrain, beckons from above—a must-do for any mountain maverick. Highlands is wild but always welcoming.
Buttermilk
Buttermilk is the perfect playground for growing skills. Whether you’re a kid—or a kid at heart—you can learn the snow-sliding basics, master tricks in the terrain parks, perfect your form on groomers, or elevate your fitness (and justify a pancake throwdown) by skinning up the hill. It’s a recipe for all abilities, from first-timers to the world’s best freestylers—this friendly little mountain has now hosted the X Games for over 20 years. At the base, the Hideout—an innovative learning center for children—invites kids to find their way into the sport of skiing through gentle slopes and interactive play areas. And at the top, incredible views of Pyramid Peak await.
