Jackets are an essential element of the traditional "suit of lights" ritually worn by world-famous bullfighters during the prized Spanish pastime of bullfighting. The term traje de luces originates from the sequins and reflective gold or silver threads woven into the costumes. It is in this case that the artist intervenes the object directly, once again reflecting his passion for his native culture.
