Héctor Bitar was born in Mexico City where he graduated in Business Administration from the Universidad Iberoamericana (1995) and in Architecture from the Universidad Anáhuac del Norte (2002). In 2002 he founded the Bitar Architects Firm and from 2011 to 2013 he combined the practice of architecture with his work as an artist. Today he is exclusively dedicated to being an artist. Bitar has had exhibitions at the Centro de Arquitectura y Diseño, Mexico City; State Council of Culture and Arts of Hidalgo, Mexico; Pilar Cubillo Gallery, Madrid; Pippal Art and Culture Center, Mexico City; Casa Lamm Gallery, Mexico City; Senate of the Republic (Mexico), Mexico City; and Same Casita Maria Center for the Arts and Education, New York; Longhouse Projects Gallery, New York. His works are included in public and private collections in Mexico, North America, Europe and the Middle East.
